God of salvation,
who sent your Son to seek out and save what is lost,
hear our prayers
on behalf of those who are lost in our day,
receiving these petitions and thanksgivings
with your unending compassion.

We pray for the family of Jaymeson West,
The 16-year-old student who tragically lost his life
After battling depression.

We pray for all those wrestling with depression;
That when all is darkness
When they feel weak and helpless,
That you, O God, would give them a sense of your presence,
Your love,
Your strength.

Help those suffering to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry them,
for, living close to You,
they will see Your hand,
Your purpose,
Your will through all things.
